KULL - THE SHADOW KINGDOM 03 pg 16 original art by WILL CONRAD
Will Conrad penciled this issue of Kull from Dark Horse Comics!
This original art, measuring approximately 11 1/2" x 17 1/2", is illustrated in pencils on standard weight comic art illustration board.
This six issue series, simply titled "Kull" is adapted from the novel "The Shadow Kingdom" written by Kull creator Robert E. Howard. I've added the "Shadow Kingdom" name so as to prevent confusion with other works. The adaptation was written by Arvid Nelson.
At the time of this story, Kull is only recently become the king of Valusia after a revolt in which Kull killed King Borna and assumed the throne with the support of the mercenary army.
This page depicts Brule revealing that the snake Kull killed was not the real Councilor Tu, just an impersonator while the real Tu was asleep. Brule tells Kull of the conspiracy as he prepares to dispose of the body!
