This original art, measuring approximately 11 1/2" x 17 1/2", is illustrated in pencils on standard weight comic art illustration board.
This six issue series, simply titled "Kull" is adapted from the novel "The Shadow Kingdom" written by Kull creator Robert E. Howard. I've added the "Shadow Kingdom" name so as to prevent confusion with other works. The adaptation was written by Arvid Nelson.
At the time of this story, Kull is only recently become the king of Valusia after a revolt in which Kull killed King Borna and assumed the throne with the support of the mercenary army.
This page depicts King Kull walking through the Fabled Room of Kings! where the statues of his predecessors seem to whisper to him. Kull challenges the unseen whisperer that mocks his new reign as King!
