Popular artist Al Rio pencilled this sample of the DC/Marvel Amalgam book Doctor StrangeFate!
This original art, measuring approximately 11" x 17", is illustrated on standard weight comic art illustration board.
Marvel Comics and DC Comics jointly produced a series called "Amalgam", in which the various characters of both "universes" were combined into single entities. For example, Marvel's Dr. Strange and DC's Dr. Fate became Dr. StrangeFate; and Marvel's Caprtain America and DC's Superman became the Super-Soldier, and so on. This was a set of sample pages drawn by Al Rio for the Dr. StrangeFate book.
This page depicts Access fleeing the angry might of the amalgamated Hulk and Solomon Grundy known as the Skulk, and running into Frankie Rayner, the amalgamation of Frankie Raye (Nova) and Kyle Rayner (Green Lantern/Ion) known as the Jade Nova!
