Will Conrad pencilled and inked this issue of the Freshmen II miniseries based on characters co-created by Seth Green and Hugh Sterbakov, and published by Top Cow!

This original art, measuring approximately 11" x 17", is illustrated in pencils and inks on standard weight comic art board.

Freshmen is the story of a motley assortment of college freshmen who gain an odd variety of powers when an experimental device called the "Ax-Cell-Erator" overloads and gives off a bioelectrical pulse that alters the cells of the students in the building (as well as the machine's creator) at the time.  At the urging of the only one of their number who knows anything about superheroes (the resident comic book geek, who was also the only one without any powers), they became a team of superheroes, slowly learning how to function as heroes while dealing with the rigors of college life!

 This page depicts the Freshmen team trying to help member Elwood Johns (the Intoxicator) inside the office of one of Elwood's professors, where they attempt to fix up one of Elwood's tests.  He's spent so much time drunk/stoned to save the world, he's been nearly flunking college!  But there's an additional problem....givin his condition, he hasn't studied, and doesn't know any of the answers!  But as the rest of the team proves nearly as clueless, Annalee (the Puppeteer) calls someone who is always home, always up and always at a computer...her dad!  She feeds him the questions and Elwood's academic reputation is--for the moment--secure!
